Excellent visit at the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL museum today. Beautiful facility. We got to talk with Dan, Michael's father, and the executive director Chris, which was a real treat. The exhibits are first class. We got learn a lot about the Navy SEALS and the different conditions they work under. Well worth our time for the visit.

I found this museum on the LI Tourism Website. Came on a weekday. Easy to find with Google maps. Parking is to the left next to the Driving Range and across the road from the greenhouse. Entrance fee is $20. It takes at the least 1 hour. If you include the virtual jump and the ride, 2 hours. It is small but has a lot of information. There are also 3 short films. I enjoyed my self.

Beautiful new museum that was built in honor of Lt. Michael Murphy, Long Island native who gave his life in serving our country. Contains well organized historical content of Navy Seals. Friendly staff who are eager to answer questions Had the pleasure of talking with Lt. Michael Murphy’s dad who is a volunteer there. His passion for educating the public about the many heros and his love for his son are evident.

It's a small museum with a lot of information. The staff are wonderful. We had the honor of meeting LT Murphy's Dad who took the time to talk to us. All the exhibits were very well done including the 911 display. Visit the museum to honor our military; many of whom, like LT Michael P. Murphy, gave their lives for our freedom.
