Beautiful warehouse transformed into an Italian museum that hosts seasonal events. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. The Cafe/restaurant transports you back to Italy. The Sardinian donkeys rescued are a special treat!
We were looking for something to do on the way to the apple farm and found this place.
Wow! We had an amazing time at the Magazzino Italian Art gallery.
Architecture was simply stunning and minimalist design, nature surrounding made us feel like we came to Italy.
The farm, donkey, backdrop of landscape with colorful trees- that’s an experience I highly recommend to anyone who appreciates nature and art.
Admission is $20 per adult.
We checked out the cafe but didn’t get to eat, so definitely we are making a plan to go back and eat at the cafe.
Spectacular setting for thought provoking modern Italian Art. As we were trying to figure out where the door was, we heard the braying of donkeys. Sure enough, signage pointed us to the donkeys. However, we opted to see the art first and save the donkeys for last. There are no labels on the displayed art and instead you can look up the art in a little guide you receive upon entrance. I liked that approach as it encourages engaging with the art and forming your own thoughts first. The design of the galleries is great - the art is not crowded and there are huge windows highlighting the beautiful setting. We also looked at the galleries in the adjacent building. The grand finale was the adorable Sardinian donkeys.
We visited on a Saturday at 4:00 and did not buy tickets online. It was not crowded.
I can only describe my experience at the Café as spectacular. We sat inside & the service was wonderful.. Everything explained perfectly in case you don't understand the incredible menu by Chef Luca. Bella was incredible & gave us the best recommendations for lunch. I had the chilled tomato soup with Rock Shrimp drizzled with amazing olive oil from Italy. Then had the Crispy Risotto with wild mushrooms and creamy Parmesan sauce. 'Absolute Heaven" & a must have.. My son had the Spinach Ravioli. Of course I had one of his. This place is very unique with herbs +veggies grown on the property. The view is outstanding but the best to top off lunch was the their incredible Tiramisu I've ever had in the world. I've not been a fan of it until coming here last weekend.
I absolutely recommend what we had but really everything on the menu is specifically crafted by the Chef. If I could I honestly would have had one of everything. Also the Pasta is fresh made to order so 100% yes to any pasta they have. It's that good.
❤️🤍💚 Ty Bella and everyone for making our day so lovely & memorable.
I cannot wait to come back here.
The museum isn’t cheap—$20 per person—but it offers a unique experience. Contemporary art reflects the reality we live in today, and it’s surprising. It may seem too simple at first glance, but as you look closer, you start to notice the depth and meaning behind each piece. The space itself is well-designed, creating a peaceful and thought-provoking atmosphere that enhances the experience.
