If I could go back every year I would. It’s absolutely amazing of the history and culture of the area
My experience at the West Point Museum was absolutely amazing. The history inside those walls is powerful from the early wars to the more modern conflicts, every exhibit is full of meaning and detail. The collection of guns, uniforms, and historic artifacts is impressive, especially knowing that many soldiers and families personally donated jackets, weapons, and memorabilia.
Walking through the museum feels like going back in time and truly understanding the sacrifices made for our country. It’s educational, emotional, and inspiring all at once. I highly recommend the West Point Museum to everyone. Whether you love history, military heritage, or just want to learn something new, this place is a must visit.
Excellent place with lots of very unique and rare historical items. Time well spent here if you enjoy history.
My dad and I just came here to tour the museum. We didn't get to look at the grounds but we visited the museum. The building was under restoration so we had to use the bathrooms in another building. To just see the museum there were no entry requirements. There is no cost either.
But the exhibits were very well done. Lots of good stuff to see from different time periods in American history. We really like to look at stuff so it took us about 3 hours to go through both floors that were open.
There were exhibits on military history in general, the US Army and of West Point itself.
Enjoyed our visit.
Being from Bastogne, Belgium. West Point has always been a place to visit on my list. Not only because Gen. Patton but because of the stories, the courage and I have to say...watching the movie " The Long Gray Line" movie seen many times with grandparents, father and then my own children. It was truly an honor for me to be there. I will come back while visiting family and friends. There is so much more I want to see. Thank you for making me feel welcome and listening to my family stories of their experiences during WWI and WWII. I shall return 😉☺️❤️
