This supermarket has serious issues. There is a cashier who is consistently rude, condescending, and unaccommodating. She never honors shelf pricing and acts like it's a problem when you point it out. Her attitude alone makes checking out a miserable experience. While not every item rings up wrong, it happens often enough that you always have to double check the price. It's frustrating and feels dishonest. The produce isn't great either, fruits and vegetables often look old or not as fresh as they should be . Overall, between the rude cashier, the constant price discrepancies, and lack of fresh produce, this store has become very disappointing.
Met Fresh is a great neighborhood grocery. Wide range of international foods. Also they do free delivery.

This is a clean, well-stocked Met establishment with a unique assortment of imported Italian, Greek and Turkish products.
I'm not sure who their distributors are, but in all my years of living in NYC, I haven't seen a store with such a distinct array of unusual products. In addition to your typical produce, dry goods, and vegan specialty items, this store sells products like pasta imported from Italy, chocolate from Greece and a variety of assorted cheeses from around the world. They have fresh baked breads, fresh cuts of meat and seafood, as well as an impressive deli counter. Store leadership is gracious and friendly as well.
My sister took me here when I was visiting this weekend, and I will certainly return!!!
