As I was looking for some family-friendly activities for my kids this weekend, I came across the family fun day at The Bridge-Middle Island Baptist Church which popped up on my Facebook feed several times over the past few weeks and I am thankful it did as something greater than me was drawing me and my family to it. Not only was it such a welcoming and family friendly time, designed by the church especially for children in mind which was extra special for me but the Pastors lovely wife, Kathleen who was so warm and kind opened up a conversation with me and was so genuine, caring, and fully engaged with me and my daughter. Shortly after - her husband, Pastor Lenny and soon after this her son who is another Pastor at the church followed to introduce themselves and spend time with my daughter and I at the table while my daughter was coloring and preparing a Mother's Day gift. Certainly a special group of leaders that this congregation has who is engaged, present, and was very thoughtful in this fun-filled community activity that they put together to bring people together in the spirit of fun while also introducing them to God in such a meaningful way while clearly embracing the family structure through the many activities offered for the children. Thank you for a wonderful time that you provided my family, children, the thoughtful conversations and prayer, and I look forward to keeping connected!

Loving church family for Bible believers who love Jesus or who want to learn how to have a personal relationship with God. All ages and families welcome. Nursery, Childrens Church, Middle School programs, Youth Group, College and Young Adult Group. Adult Bible studies too
Bible based church that preaches the Word, hospitality and relaxed atmosphere.
Mixed age group which is nice.
No nursery or childcare during the service, just an FYI, but if you have a young child that needs tending too you can freely leave sanctuary and do so.
If your looking for a church and this is close to you I would recommend attending a few services and see if it's for you.
I love this little church! It has been such a blessing to be a part of this community of people just wanting to grow in the word. The Word of God is preached and people are loved on by the pastors family! So beyond thankful for their ministry. The youth program is fantastic! The kids love to come and they show that they are growing in their walk with the Lord!
