It was just amazing.
One of the best sunset views. You can even see the new york skyline from firetower.
Good hike
Very nice relatively short, challenging hike. We went up to casino point. It took us about 45 minutes to go up and 30 down hiking at a moderate pace. and EV charging station at the parking lot.
This is actually a nice starting point for the hike, which the free shuttle will drop you off at. There is a nice path to the hike starting point and a place to sit with picnic tables. We could barely do the steps to the actual mountain path, but it was still fun! So we went to the top of all the stairs and back and then chilled at the tables. It was nice!
What a great hike with my dog Sasha! From the parking lot to the summit (fire tower) it's about 2 miles. It took Sasha and I about 1 hr to get to the top. One of the issues we had is that the markings on the trail were not so great so we took a couple of wrong turns.
Trekking Mount Beacon, towards the Fire Tower, there’s a convenience store, get extra water and protein. If you are bringing your dog, please, bring enough water for them as well. This day was very hot and I saw a few not prepared to give their dogs water. It’s worth it and there is an easy trail.
