Perfect Christmas meal! So happy they were open to serve us today before our movie. They even let us order the ridiculously cheap $9 lunch specials. My breaded and fried eggplant dish was a standout. The eggplant was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The sauce was yummy—a little sweet and not salty. Generous brown rice and white chicken. My bf got the string beans which were solid. Run by a sweet and hardworking family. They should really be charging more.

Came in today with my father from central Islip . Wooooow the food was amazing and fresh!! We ordered 1/2 fried chicken with vegetable fried rice and pork fried rice with egg in it. The aroma was so intense our stomachs drooled!!! The staff was very pleasant and great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!
New Yee Wo is the real deal.
The food hits every time—fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The sesame chicken is crispy without being heavy, the fried rice has that perfect wok taste, and the dumplings are some of the best around. Portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
What really makes this spot stand out is the consistency. Doesn’t matter if it’s a weekday lunch or a late-night order—it always tastes right. The staff is quick, polite, and keeps things moving, which is exactly what you want when you’re hungry.
I’ve had a lot of Chinese food spots on the Island, but New Yee Wo is one of those places you can count on. When you want good food without the letdown, this is where you go.
Oh wow !! Best sesame chicken I got in awhile!!! Perfect how I like it and how I asked for it which was light sauce , Xtra crispy, and white rice!! Very clean and fresh and delivery was SPEEDY
