My name is Dave Lybolt and I would like to respond to the negative review sent by Skylar LaChance . The current officers of Poplar Grove Cemetery Assoc. are volunteers. We have inherited a Cemetery which is approx. 150 years old. The former officers did not keep accurate records and there is no way to verify those records which are available to us. There are no living former officers to consult. We make every effort to assist plot holders and their families in their time of grievance. All cemeteries are regulated by the state and therefore we must comply with these regulations to protect the cemetery itself as well as it's plot holders. We understand that some may feel that compliance with these regulations may seem uncooperative or unsympathetic however we are bound by these regulations.

Very informative site. A lot of work has gone into the rescue of this American treasure.

What an attractive website for a cemetery association + it contains important family history information. Love the photos of the cemetery and the efforts to restore the grounds.
