Pequa Physical & Aquatic Therapy

Grateful to find Pequa and PT Derrick. Within first 4 weeks experiencing improved movement, decreased onset and length of headaches. Staff - checking in, Isobel such a help, warm & welcoming - especially helpful, facilities well serviced and supported. Derrick, Kyle and Dan (PTs) professional and emphatic. PT support team, including Frank and Ashley (and the folks who take care of myriad of paperwork but don’t know their names), make it “better”. Whoever does the hiring for this staff - great team/great job. Highly recommend.

I was a client of Pequa for about 6 months through various injuries. I am very grateful for the care Derrick and Maddie gave me. They were accommodating and spent a lot of time helping me despite having several other patients to work with. I felt that they had extensive knowledge and were very good at teaching me exercises to prevent future problems and keep my body healthy. Body feels better because of their care. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

I have been to 2 other therapy offices and this office is by far the best place i have been. After my therapy session are done if I ever need therapy again this is the place to be. From the moment you walk in your greeted by smiles to the actual therapist that treat you are tentative to your questions and concerns the aquatic service is very good for your mind and soul. The therapist helpers are great as well. And if that wasn’t enough the actual owner is always on site and also is one of the therapists there I would recommend this therapy site a 10 if I could. I had trouble with my shoulder/rotator cuff. I chose Pequa in Lake Grove because of their ratings and the location (10 minutes from home). The location is clean and organized with lots of good equipment. They are very friendly and welcoming from the time you walk in the door until you leave. Derek and Bob worked on me (mostly). Both were very knowledgeable, friendly and made the most out of my time. My shoulder began to feel better after just a few visits and continues to get better after each session. Pequa will be my go to for physical therapy from now on. THANKS.

After a car accident left my left side “non functional” and headaches constant, was sent to Pequa PT by my trusted primary care provider. Upon arrival I was in sad shape. Now just over a year later, I’m 80% BACK. And those horror d, brain exploding headaches have stopped.

Of course, exemplar staff helps. Isabella, front dest, always smiles, warm greeting, ever professional.

My “most often” PT, Derek (on occasion have been treated by Dan and-or Dr. Bob - both very effective and highly supportive) has patiently brought about my return to physical activity. Patient, yes, and quite professional. Is always willing to listen, always supportive. Exemplar indeed.

Recovering from surgery? Highly recommend the therapy pool. All staff remarkably emphatic. Thank you John (owner) for putting together this team of professionals.
