Piccolo Mondo Ristorante

I had my sister in laws baby shower this past Sunday for 40 people. I was very disappointed honestly. We had a 10 inch cake that we asked to cut and they said they will charge us $3.50 a slice which is ridiculous because other venues I have had parties don't charge for cake cutting. The staff was standing there while we were cutting the cake and we needed plates and I had to ask twice to supply us with dessert plates. Also beware when you book packages they CHARGE FOR SODA $3.50/PERSON. Which is absurd because other places soda coffee tea are all included with the package and they only charge additional when you have alcohol.

There should have been at least 2 servers but there was only one. The bread came out with no butter by the time the butter came the bread was cold. We ordered soda and it came out 30 mins later.

Definitely not doing another party here and I wouldn't recommend.

Always there And Akways satisfied to the max. Every dish is phenomenal along with the price.. every waitress is wonderful and social in the best way.. this place is a gem.. And its obviously growing with patrons.. never loud... its truly magical!

There is something about Picolo Mondo that keeps people coming back for more.

Maybe it’s the warm greeting with a smile 😊 from Roland at the door 🚪, or maybe it’s the expert serving staff makes you feel so special, or maybe it’s just that their chef knows how to make any dish 🍛flavorful and exceptional.

For me, it’s all of the above ⬆️ .

I started with a smoked 💨 old fashioned 🥃. They make it better than anyone see the pic of the presentation.

I started with an eggplant 🍆 Parmesan 🧀 appetizer. It was light 💡 and balanced on a light béchamel sauce. It was delightful.

My friends each had a salad 🥗 one of which was a special of shaved 🪒 Brussels sprouts 🌱 which looked amazing.

For a main dish, I had the scallops 🦪 wrapped in prosciutto 🍖 on a bed of creamy risotto 🍚. The sweetness of the scallops with the Smokey, 💨 savory prosciutto was a great 👍 combo all mellowed with the creamy goodness of the risotto. Just perfect.

My wife had the Cesarecce Pasta 🍝…short pasta twists with a Wichita wine 🍷 sauce, crumbled Italian
🇮🇹 sausage, fennel 🥬 , caramelized onions 🧅, topped with pistachio nuts 🌰. Can you imagine it…? Yes, it was that good.

Our friends had the Parmesan French Chicken 🐔 Picolo. A very hearty dish! Lightly breaded, with whipped Yukon Gold potatoes 🥔, a side of Brussels sprouts 🌱, in a wild 🤪 mushroom 🍄‍🟫 Marsala sauce. So good and such a big portion, they wound up taking at least half of it home 🏡.

We shared deserts. A refreshing sorbet 🍨 and a cheesecake 🍰 with blueberries 🫐 topped with a strawberry 🍓 drizzle. 🌧️. And whipped cream It was yummy. 😋

Hope you will visit Picolo Mondo in East Northport on Jericho turnpike. You will be glad 😌 you did.

Not only is the food here amazing, but the service is impeccable. We love everyone who works here, Roland is so accommodating, and we always leave feeling like we had a great dining experience. The way that they prepare their branzino here is probably my favorite fish dish on LI. The octopus is incredible, and the eggplant Parmesan melts in your mouth. My husband and I consider Piccolo to be one of our favorite spots in the area 😊

The food and service were excellent. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. All four entries were delicious. Only negative was the short rib meatball appetizer. Very tasty polenta and sauces but the meat was a little dry. Great experience. We'll be back soon.
