Just moved into the neighborhood and was thrilled to see a Jamaican restaurant in the area. I was even more thrilled when the food arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. It’s definitely spicy (because it’s authentic people!) on the jerk chicken but the flavors are wonderful. The Mac n cheese was delicious and I absolutely love the cabbage. I made the decision to get a side of the oxtail gravy and boy I am happy I did, you could put it on an old shoe and it would taste good. I’ll definitely be back and you should support a local mom and pop also!
A bang for your buck! I got the chicken curry and beef patty! So flavorful and the perfect amount of spice!!! The chicken melts in your mouth which I love. On top the fact I saw this place going to college and was like I need to order after class. Got stuck in traffic and the women who worked there was so so so sweet and understanding and waited 15 min after close because I didn’t know they close at 3pm. Definitely coming back not just because of the food but because it seems like they are real kind people in messed up world we live in!!!
Food was delicious! I ordered the oxtails. Proportion size was amazing, It never gave stingy with the gravy also! Definitely would recommend😋🤗
Been to The Foood Spot multiple times now, and they always deliver. Consistent, flavorful, and worth every bite. My go-to is the oxtail and beef patties, but the jerk chicken and Rasta pasta always hit too. Just tried the wings for the first time and they were 🔥 smoky, saucy, and full of flavor. Definitely one of my favorite spots around. 👏🏽🍽️
The food was flavorful and the portions were good. The oxtails were big and the gravy was delicious. The yams were sweet and big as well. Cabbage and Gouda Mac n cheese were delicious.A little pricy but worth it. Very clean place and the woman at the counter was very nice. Would definitely recommend and go back.
