PPSC has always felt like a warm, inclusive learning environment that didn't have some of the hierarchical elements of other institutes. I was always encouraged to contribute in whatever way I wanted. The part-time learning option was also a key factor for me in deciding to go there. I completed the 3 year program and now work for the institute. This is a rich community that I’m thankful to be a part of.
I have been on the faculty of PPSC for more than 20 years. As a teacher, I have had the good fortune of participating in the development of an amazing group of psychoanalysts. As a supervisor, I witnessed up close the knowledge, compassion, and expertise these candidates exhibited in their work with patients. Now many of these former students have become my mature colleagues. They, along with new faculty and supervisors that have affiliated with PPSC, provide excellent treatment to their patients. PPSC is not only an exceptional training Institute, but it also provides a treatment service of caring, well informed, skilled therapists to the community.

I looked at several institutes for training and found PPSC to be the most theoretically diverse and the culture to be the most open and flexible. Now that I am a graduate and faculty member of PPSC, I thank my luck stars to be part of such a wonderful community.
