Unfortunately, I do not recommend Rabco as a roofing contractor. I hired the company to completely re-roof my home. The job went well and the roof was completed. Clean up was good and overall I was initially satisfied with the outcome. Then about a month later I smelled propane in my attic and son's bedroom. Investigation revealed that Rabco had removed some of the roofing plywood they had exposed a propane line which fed an upstairs dryer. I was actually able to locate a picture with a worker sitting next to the exposed line on the roof. When they put the new board down, they pushed down the line and put the board on top. They then put on the shingles, and put a nail through the line in the process. I had to have a company come out and replace the line. Thankfully an explosion did not occur. I contacted the owner of Rabco and requested that he split the difference of the repair with me. He would not stand by his worker and denied any responsibility. He stated that it was not up to code, so it was not his fault. I feel that as soon as his worker exposed the problem, he should have at least told me about it, so that we could fix it. Instead, they just made it worse. Although I was initially happy with the company and the job they did, I can not recommend them as I do not feel they will stand by their work. I am just happy that they situation did not have a much worse outcome.
