Rice & Spice Grill

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. What really impressed me was their customer service even though the dish I wanted wasn’t on the menu, they still made it for me with no hesitation. That shows how much they care about their customers. Definitely one of the best halal spots around. Highly recommended!

This chicken and rice (or chicken and lamb combo which is my preference) is as good - if not better - than the street meat halal guys in the city. Plus, you don’t have to wait on line in the cold for it. Always, without fail, hits the spot!

Pretty standard halal. Nothing special.

I ordered a large chicken and lamb combo. Wasn’t impressed. The size of food didn’t feel “large” felt standard. Both the chicken and lamb portions were small and the actual pieces were small, too.

I asked for it “to stay” and they still gave me a takeout tray.

The prices aren’t great either.

I payed $18.49 for a “large” chicken and rice and a canned soda.

They need to do better. I wish they had larger more “bite-full” ingredients but they don’t.

I will say, the ingredients were indeed fresh.

Kind of feels like a food truck without the wheels 😔

I’ve had a lot of chicken over rice from more places than I can count and this place sits at the top of list. Great spice, really good white sauce and hot sauce.

On top of that, the brown sugar milk tea is comparable to any pure bubble tea shop! Good experience all around. Bonus points for having celcius energy drinks available

Amazing food! So happy to have a Rice and Spice style menu, as a counter service option in Mt. Pleasant! There are simple items like chicken nuggets on the menu for kids, however my 6 and 5 year old who never deviate from their standards, tried the chicken over rice and LOVED IT! Can’t wait to come back to try the Gyros and Wings!
