Dean and his crew were absolutely fantastic. I had always wanted to get scuba certified. And they made it very easy to learn and had fun while doing so.

Completed the level 1 F.I.I. freediving course here with Dean and it was extremely beneficial. The information is essential if you are getting in the water to freedive or spear, regardless of experience. Dean teaches the course in a great way too. Shop is very clean and organized.

My husband Austin and I just finished our open water scuba certification today and had the best experience learning how to scuba dive with Dean & Frank as our instructors from start to finish. We highly recommend coming to School of Fish and taking scuba classes with Dean & Frank!! We cannot say enough good things about how our experience was and we will definitely be coming back to learn more in the future!! 🤿

My wife did her open water class with School of Fish and loved the experience. I stopped down with her after she finished and was impressed both with the facilities and the level of knowledge the owner has. I subsequently purchased some dive equipment with nothing but positive experiences and have since had my equipment serviced by them as well. They are very accommodating for last minute tank fills including gas mixes. It’s a great shop, especially if you’re a North shore or Eastern Long Island diver. I know nothing about free diving or spear fishing but word on the street is these guys are great for that as well. See you under water!!! Dive, dive, dive!!!
