Pretty to look at. Not really a sandy beach though.
If you’re looking for a very low key place to park your car and sit on a bench to take in the view and see the boats, this may be it. The people that come and go are the ones taking out their boats or bringing them in. Just a simple, no frills, small spot with a few places to sit and a small pavilion. I shouldn’t post this to keep it just as low key but I’m not that selfish :)
It’s not open to the public, parking permit is required. Police hides to give a ticket waits for you to leave to give you a ticket. Also, the water wasn’t clean to get in.
Quaint, smaller park with a playground and covered picnic table area with a beautiful view of the water. You'll need a resident permit to enter during the summer season. After Labor Day anyone can enter but note there is no lifeguard. The pavilion provides plenty of shaded picnic tables.
