It has the look and feel of a store ready to liquidate. A few years ago I was in the store for a GPS, and the staff seemed very disinterested Several calls over the PA later, no one came to the electronics department. I left the store, without a GPS and have not been back.
Now that Sears has closed all their stores in Upstate NY, this is the closest one to me. It is a 75 mile drive from Albany to get here but it is worth the trip! This store is always clean, organized, and usually fully stocked. Employees are very friendly and helpful here! I am not sure why but every time I write a review about a Sears store, they tend to close a month later...hopefully this doesn't happen to this wonderful store in the heart of the Hudson Valley!
Sears always has my pick up items ready in minutes. The only thing we don't like is that there is no place to sit while waiting. They used to but no longer. For the amount of times I've ordered ( 100+) I have only had two issues. One was a misplaced item that they never found and the other was something that hasn't been included so I had to go back. Overall I am very pleased with my experiences and no one has ever been rude which is more than I can say about many competitors. I will continue to shop here.
It's painful to watch this dinosaur die a slow and painful death. Perhaps someone will put them out of their misery. Before they do, grab some utility cutters.
