This Supermarket has everything you need. The prices are excellent, and the quality has gotten significantly better since the introduction era. Fresh fruits and vegetables. They even sell flowers and plants. Brand names are cheaper than Key Food and other chain supermarkets. Their brand is where you really save money!!! They make fresh, fresh bakery goods twice a day! Croissants for only 50 cents! Baguettes and Ciabatta bread for $2. Fresh Mozzarella for $3 or less. The turnaround is super fast, so you get fresh produce all the time. This supermarket is.much.much better than Aldi or Key Food. I would say it is little bit better or equal to Trade Joe's.

I used to come often and still remember tons of pp when it just opened. Lidl has good products & competitive prices but under poor maintenance.
The bread area looks so messy that even worse than a food bank. And the self check machines seems forever disabled for whatever reason.
So you have to wait 15 mins for human check out. Instead of 2 mins self check out.

The staff is very helpful. The fresh vegetables and produce are great quality. You can certainly save money by signing up for their rewards program. The bakery section is definitely worth the hype. Overall, I was extremely satisfied, leaving with a shopping cart that was overflowing and only spending $91. I look forward to returning soon!

Opened on Jan 24, 2024! I listed this location on GMaps, it's so new. This supermarket replaced the DSW in the bottom/ basement of the Queens Place Mall (don't confuse this eith Queens Center mall, it is NOT inside Queens Center). It is huge! Much bigger than the Aldi in Rego Center, like 2.5x bigger but not everything is cheaper if we were to compare prices from two value supermarkets. Lidl (pronounced "Lee-dull" as I learned from opening day) has far more variety, hence the larger square footage. There are weekly specials so buy what's on sale to really get good value.

There is an on site bakery and that was the busiest part of the store! There's Pastel de Nata, "everything bagel" croissants, fresh rolls, etc.

Self checkout was amazing. Plenty of checkout machines, no item max, and there is a clerk to help with ad hoc problems, questions. I didn't feel pressured to hurry up since there was no line behind me even though it was opening day.

Download the Lidl app where you can be rewarded with points for every purchases and you can redeem them for awards which are pre-selected food items (like an almond milk carton or yogurt). There is a $5 off $30 purchase with your first purchase in the app. Scanning your Lidl app to collect points was easy. Wait to get your paper receipt AND a coupon for $10 off your next purchase of $40! Stack on the savings.

Store layout: there are annoying columns in most aisles due to the store being in the basement which makes navigation trickier if there is a busy crowd. Just FYI, I saw people just use the kiddie shopping cart if they were just buying a few items, haha! Smart idea to weave through people.

They gave samples on opening day but I'm not sure if this is a regular thing.

They freezer section places all the weekly deals in one section, so it's easy to get things on sale. I'm only shopping in that section, lol!

There's even a section for home goods and non-food items. Don't have much to comment here because I didn't need anything. There's also a seasonal section with fun items like candy, cookies, etc.
