Nice place to visit. Unfortunately, I can see more birds in my backyard then here. But still nice place for to go for walk, and IF you lucky you may see owls...

Get there early to find parking. Drive slow always lots of wildlife about. Set up on the amazing viewing platforms or take a walk down the trail. Be careful and quiet and you will have a wonderful show of wildlife.
    Bathrooms clean and well made.

Love this tranquil place! Went in mid October and heard many birds. Saw a Cooper's Hawk and Blue Heron which were both magnificent!

Great place for birders, although end of May found a predominance of red-winged black birds. West branch was quite muddy in the low areas. Viewing areas are handicapped friendly.

I come here a lot when I visit upstate area. As I'm typing this out, it's 27° outside with a nice flurry and very calm breeze coming from west. The trail heads are cordoned off for the birds right now but when they're open the park makes for a nice lap. Obviously one of the best spots to bird watch in the area, hands down. There is a restroom in the parking lot for you if it's a long drive to get here. 🇺🇸
