I have had numerous wheel pottery classes in the past and this is so far my best experience for wheel throwing. The teacher/ owner is very patient, accommodating , encouraging and knowledgeable. The one on one encounter is helpful in the learning process and the teacher graciously corrects details that I would not have paid attention to. The pottery pieces I made are beautifully and safely packed and now I’m enjoying it. The place is easy to navigate and steps away from downtown main street in Beacon, NY. Great experience ! Five stars! ⭐️

Really enjoyed learning here and exploring a new medium. The energy is very welcoming, we were given easy to follow instructions while using the wheel. Overall it's been consistently a great experience. Something I'd love to do again.

The atmosphere was very welcoming and we had a great time. The class was fun and the teacher was very nice and made the process simple to understand. We enjoyed learning a new art medium, and would do it again.

My fiancé and I had a cute date night and took a pottery class at Silica. It was so much fun! The entire studio has a great energy and filled with pieces from local artists, which I loved seeing. The owner Dani was so great. She has an amazing grounding energy which made the learning process fun but also relaxing. We made 2 bowls each, and left with a new love for pottery and a memorable experience. We can’t wait to do it again!
