Small World Daycare and Preschool

Small World is the best day care in yonkers. When my daughter entered there summer program at the age of 2 years old. she barely spoke anything and was just running around everywhere and wasn’t potty trained. She now can have a full conversation with you and expresses herself and is now potty trained and I have small world to thank them for that Everything from the staff to the location and there activities are just phenomenal IF YOU PLANNING OR HAVE BABIES/CHILDREN YOU CAN TRUST SMALL WORLD DAYCARE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BABY!!!

My son started at Small World when he was six months old and it was the scariest thing leaving him with strangers, essentially. My son is now three years old and in 3 years I've never picked up my son sad, he's usually sad to leave and is always excited to go to school. As a parent there is no better feeling than knowing that your child loves being in school and knowing that the people with him love him just as much as he loves them ! The teachers have been so instrumental in my son's learning, his speech, socially even potty training. We have been there since six months up until three and it didn't matter what class my son was in. It didn't matter which teachers he had every teacher hes had he's loved . Small World has impacted our life and we're lucky enough to have our daughter now at Small World. The director is so easy to get in contact with and is willing to help in any way she can. The staff is super helpful. The teachers are wonderful. The activities they plan are super cute and the kids absolutely have such a blast. Small World is the best.!!!!

My daughter started this school last year and I have nothing but great things to say. They are caring, responsible, and just such amazing people. Miss Christa’s class is just the best She is the kind of teacher that you want for your kids, Someone that you can see and feel That really cares for the children and you can see it through their growth. My daughter has learned so much. She is just three years old and Sometimes I’m amazed myself with the things that she learns at school. She loves to school so much that some weekends she begs to go back to school. They have a schedule calendar every month with activities and fun things to do. They keep you updated throughout the day about what your child is doing, which is great and it gives you a really good peace of mind. overall just a nice place for the kids to be the area is really quiet and safe. The playground is very spacious which I think it’s a great thing so the kids can run around safely. Would 100% recommend this school.

My son and I both love the staff, environment and education at Small World!!! Over the past 14 months my son has gone from non-verbal to non-stop talking! He has learned how to use the bathroom, write his letters, name and numbers and can easily tell me things a pre-k4 or Kindergarten student is just learning. I can say confidently that a lot of his growth is due to his structured learning environment at Small World. He absolutely LOVES all his teachers and they love him just as much. I’m so glad I found this daycare and school!!!

My boys attended this daycare and I cannot say enough about them. I was a first time mom who was filled with anxiety about leaving my first son. Miss Viva (the owner) was so helpful to me. She was kind and addressed every concern I had. The staff she has are all amazing and you can feel the care and love they have for children. I had the most positive experience and my boys LOVED attending school! I recommend Small World to everyone looking for a responsible and warm environment for their children!
