    I purchased a new Vupad unit when I opened my clinic last year. Among all of the options it has various advantages including its ability to provide 20 MHz B scan, 50 MHz UBM and A scan. For the work I do these are important testing modalities. My unit has provided all of the functions it promised. Not only that, my sales representative has been highly responsive to any concerns I have including adding functions, connecting me with their engineers, etc. From things like screws I needed to answers to questions I have about it, I've been really happy in general.

    As an example of one experience that highlights the above, one day I was in clinic and I noticed that the probe head was leaking oil likely indicating damage to the unit. I contacted the representative and within 24 hrs I had a replacement while my part was being worked on. Sonomed has gone above and beyond for me. This is an amazing example of the customer service I have received. I'm really glad I made this purchase and encourage anyone considering an ultrasound purchase to think about a Sonomed purchase.

    Sonomed ophthalmic ultrasound technology is something that's being used each day in an ophthalmic office. The image quality is impeccable and axis tools are very useful. Point out a stand out customer support. Suggest to check VuPad and VuMax B-scan, A-scan, UBM and its latest capabilities. 👍

    I have personally dealt with Sonomed Escalon team for a number of years now and had only experienced professionalism and a personal approach not only from the sales/support team, but also had a chance to closely interact with the upper management that always make sure that your needs are addressed and met. The brand itself is innovating ahead of times with introduction of new products in ultrasound, imaging as well as latest in wearable diagnostic technologies, mobile and portable ophthalmic and optometric devices. Exciting times ahead for this company and am looking forward to keeping a close eye on what they come up with next.

    Sir/Madam,

    I happen to be an Ophthalmic Surgeon from Kolkata. I had bought a Sonomed 300 A+ Biometry on 18/12/2012( Ref No. SRS/2012-2013/SRS-0156) from SRS Enterprise,Kolkata. The machine was working fine till the display monitor went black on 31/07/2013.When contacted, the service engineer took the machine away and sent it to Sonomed Centre, Ahmedabad. I came to know that some motherboard had gone wrong and it would have to be sent to US as it was under warranty. Subsequently, in about a couple of weeks’ time I came to know that the replaced machine had reached Ahmedabad and would be sent right away as I was severely inconvenienced without the same. Then the story of falsehood started from Ahmedabad and is still continuing. Their Kolkata contact unit, Mehra Eyetech Pvt Ltd was waiting for arrival of the machine any day from Ahmedabad who claims to have sent it a week back.

    I am still hapless without the machine from a renowned company that conked out in seven months and at the same time, clueless regarding the time of arrival of the same, if ever.

    My experience with Sonomed had indeed been very sad.
