Spirit Taekwondo Plainview

My son really enjoys his classes and the community that it has. This place is impressive with how they work with kids even kids with special needs so they can learn self control and self esteem. My son has Adhd and some social anxiety but in this class he sits so perfectly and follows every instruction and he has progressed so well he is now a red belt. Overall im impress with how much my son is getting from every class. Its not all about fighting (aka sparing) like some misunderstand it to be. Its not violent in any way. Its about self defense but mostly self respect first. I think if youre looking for something positive to get your kids into spirit taekwondo is definitely worth a try.

The masters / instructors are professional and interact well with kids of all ages. They are very knowledgeable and have a great ability to bring out the best in the students of all levels and skills. My son has learned so much from them he has been able to improve with disciplines and respects, he also has so much fun he enjoys Taekwondo. They do more than teach, they uplift! They are an amazing school and community! and they even threw an awesome Birthday party for my son (: I highly recommend Spirit Taekwondo

My son has been attending Spirit Taekwondo for well over a year now. He started at 4 years old and is turning 6 soon and I have seen him grow and mature because of his training. The Masters are amazing teachers and the class environment is fun and engaging. They truly make you feel like family! They have fun parties and outings and the tournaments are always exciting. Overall, we have had a great experience and look forward to continuing the journey to Black Belt and beyond!!!

Spirit Taekwondo has been an amazing experience for my daughter. She started at 4 and a half years old and has been going for close to a year. We have seen an increase in her confidence and discipline during her time and best of all, she looks forward to going to class every week.
Master Starnes and Gumpeng create a fun energetic environment and the whole team is great with the kids. My 1.5 year old attends to watch his sister and has been picking up some of the training from the sidelines so I’m sure he will attend once he is of age.
I can’t recommend Spirit enough and am grateful we found them.

We love Spirit Taekwondo. Master Starnes and Gumpeng are incredibly patient and treat all the kids like their own. We have been coming for just under 6 months and we can see an improvement in our son’s confidence and focus. We are happy to be a part of the Spirit Taekwondo family!
