Our first time ordering from Taco Island, and wow - we are officially obsessed.

We saw the birria pizza online and had to try it, and it was everything we expected and more. We’ve tried so many different Mexican spots and chains in the area, and this is hands down our new favorite. The birria pizza was incredible, and the guacamole was unbelievably fresh and delicious.

We also loved that they included chips with a variety of sauces - it really elevated the whole experience. And the cheesy potato burrito… oh my God! Absolutely amazing!!! I’m already thinking about ordering it again.

On top of the food, the kindness and warmth from the staff truly blew us away. You can tell they care about their customers and their food.

We cannot wait for our next experience here. Taco Island has officially earned a loyal customer! 🌮🔥

Generous staff proportions. All meat and cheese in my chimichanga was so satisfying.
Tons of different sauces. Staff is respectful, grateful and welcoming. Fish tacos had a ton of flavor.
Oh, and we got free, fresh out of the oven churros.

Well worth a trip! Food was excellent, service outstanding, and we were gifted some delicious piping hot homemade churros at the end of the meal. I got the shrimp tacos, which I would get again. Homemade chips and and assortment of sauces were delivered to the table. The staff even turned down the music without being asked bcs they could tell we were older!

Hands down one of the best taco spots I’ve tried! Although it’s a bit of a drive for me, it’s always worth it for their amazing tacos. Their birria tacos are delicious, the shrimp tacos are packed with flavor, and their burritos never disappoint. The portions are generous, and they even offer catering! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, they once offered me complimentary churros on my way out, which was such a sweet touch. If you’re looking for an authentic taco spot on Long Island, definitely give Taco Island a try. Highly recommend!

What a delicious lunch! I started with chips and salsa as I waited for my food. I make homemade garden tomato sauce myself so I can tell when something is made fresh and it was the BEST! I had a beef crunch taco and 2 Al Pastor Mexican Street tacos. All three tacos were made to perfection. As a parting gift I was given churros which were a perfect mix of sweet and crunchy outside and soft, sweet and delicious inside. This place is a real find! Thanks Taco Island.
