Had this place for the first time yesterday and let me say I will definitely be going back. Placed my order on Uber Eats for pickup the app said it would be ready at 6:19pm I didn’t receive my food till about 6:50pm which for me is no big deal, Let me say it was worth every minute I waited for it, the food was so fresh and delicious it didn’t upset my stomach how other Mexican spots normally do. 10 out of 10 if your in the Carmel/Mahopac area definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you haven’t already.
Lovely service and fresh food! Cute little house turned taco joint. Park across the street would make a good place to eat tacos to go.
Really love the taco salad - the tortilla “bowl” is crispy, and it’s loaded with rice, beans, lettuce, guac, and meat of your choice. Great value and good portion. i particularly like the carnitas: chunks of crispy pork that are not dry.
Taco land is an unassuming Taco spot with a chill atmosphere near Lake Glenda in Carmel. Good prices, great food made with fresh ingredients and served with a smile. We kinda stumbled upon this place for a late lunch and found a new local favorite. Veggie Tacos were excellent. My Hubby had the beef pork and chicken tacos. All were moist and tasty. We will definitely visit again!
We had this place on our local list to try and finally got a chance to stop by. I had a hibiscus juice, Spanish rice, and a chicken flour tortilla taco. My guest had a shrimp taco and a fish taco. We shared guac & chips.
The waiter was so chill and efficient. He helped out with the menu and did not rush us. The atmosphere was quaint and lovely. The tablecloths were a nice atmosphere.
We absolutely loved the food! Everything was prepared well, with the possibility to adjust the heat. I can’t do anything spicy and my guest loves extra heat. She tried all the home made sauces and enjoyed every one.
I ended up ordering another tortilla to break my taco into two. The chicken was perfectly flavored without being spicy hot.
The tablecloth had some food stains and could have been handled with a glass overlay or plastic. The restroom was honey, but the commode was extremely low and hard on anyone with knee issues.
Overall it was a good experience and we will definitely be back.
