Pros: Nice community, free wifi, machines wash great, and the music is fun!
Cons: Dryer price/time's kinda steep (25 cents for 5 mins then 6 min, alternatively; where I usually go it's 8-10 mins), not many places to sit if it's busy, and I'm not sure if there's a bathroom đŸ˜…
A fine place to do laundry any hour of the day, or to pass time late during night in the village. But the music from either SiriusXM, iHeartRadio, or another music service can go on to a monotonous extent and some time outside may then be desired, even if staying in is the best idea.
The machines are good and there is enough space to maneuver around BUT the cleanliness is usually below standard. Yesterday there was a significant amount of water on the floor. I don't mean that the floor was damp, it was a large puddle. Then people smoke right outside the door and the smoke becomes trapped inside the laundromat.
I had read this place was closed, then also read that it was terrible. I came on a Saturday afternoon and parked right in front. It was pretty empty, so I got all our clothes plus 2 comforters and a blanket in washers right away. The machines are old, but they seemed to work great! In and out in less than two hours. Pawling is a great little town too - so there’s plenty to look at while you’re waiting.
This place is kind of falling apart-ish but they have washers and driers of different sizes.
I guess if you don’t want to go far you can go here but truthfully there are way cleaner places you can go do laundry at. Worth it if you’re in a rush-ish?
No cards, cash only. They have a section to change your bills for coins. Some washers/dryers are beat up and out of service.
Free wi-fi if that helps. Honestly I wish they would give this a little TLC to make the place a bit less run down.
