Truly a great dining experience, I'm surprised I'd not heard of this place sooner since living in the area!
Came here with my wife for an impromptu dinner date and we were both very delighted with our food from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations.
For appetizer we got a dozen clams: red bears and st. Simon and the red bears were absolutely delightful, I highly recommend them while they're on the menu! We also got the prosciutto wrapped shrimp, which was tastefully charred. Although I feel prosciutto is better not cooked and bacon would be a better choice for that dish.
For dinner we got the salmon special, which came with a white wine Dijon sauce, rice, and broccoli. I had the scallops with mushroom risotto. The salmon was excellent, the sauce was delightful, the scallops were cooked perfectly with nice crisp edges but still soft and moist on the inside. The risotto was also cooked perfectly, its hard to find a good risotto and I practically picked the plate clean. The scallops were also covered in a homemade pesto that was absolutely incredible!
For dessert we got the gingerbread cake, and being someone who doesnt have much of a sweet tooth I absolutely devoured it.
Overall I'm definitely coming back! Hopefully soon!
Delicious food, great service & atmosphere. Had dinner for 2 Saturday night 11.29.25. Cute place with a fireplace inside as well as a fire pit outside , we will definitely be going back when in the area.
I was amazed to come upon this restaurant out while driving in the country. It was such a beautiful quaint little place to eat. The outside was beautiful. It was autumn and all the trees were different colors. There were string lights all over outside in the outdoor seating area. There were a few families playing games together out in the grass in front of the restaurant. When I stepped inside, it was absolutely gorgeous in a simple way. That atmosphere was a quaint upscale country restaurant. The lobster roll and lobster bisque were absolutely delicious. The lobster roll had a lot of lobster meat inside. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. I was surprised how fast the food came out. Also, the restaurant was impeccably clean.
What a beautiful hidden gem. Our first time going here and it did not disappoint
I haven’t had oysters from Massachusetts since leaving and did I was so happy indulge. And the shrimp cocktail was yummy too!
Pasta snd steak were perfect and the dessert delectable!! We will definitely be back .
I had a really good time yesterday at the Bruynswick Inn and oyster bar. Live music outside, the fire pit, a beautiful setting and a helpful staff added to the experience. We ordered the trio appetizer and while it took 45 minutes to get to us the quality of the food was good. I also ordered the steak panini and others in the group had the grilled chicken sandwich. Again it took some time but the food was good. Keep in mind it was Father’s Day and they were very busy. We needed more chairs and the young man working outside took good care of us. The bar tender was great at meeting our needs and the waiting staff, while swamped with orders worked hard to meet our needs. The time delay and a few mistakes on our order is the reason for the one star drop but I do recommend this facility for food and fun. I really hope you give them a shot. We traveled from Saratoga and found it worth the trip.
