The food is good And always has been especially the steak frites. But the saddest thing about third and seventh is how they no longer reflect their own community. Most of their workers are Mamdani supporters (as posted on their igs) and should be embarrassed for being liberals of that caliber after living in Marine Park for 30+ years. Especially given the fact that this is an Irish neighborhood. This bar has culturally disintegrated (especially after losing their old bouncer lenny) and that is why I no longer go with fellow Knights of Columbus members. Overall I don’t miss the new third and seventh whenever I visit Brooklyn, I miss the old third and seventh. And everyone knows what I mean when I say the “old third and seventh”.
Food is always on point. Family friendly, Justin at the bar is incredible. If you want good food and to feel like you’re at home, this is the spot!
Grateful to have this little gem in the neighborhood.
Nice. Comfortable local watering hole with bar in front and tables in rear. Good food, nice choices, great atmosphere for talking. Good service and reasonable prices. Street parking was easy at lunchtime.
