One of the best local haunted houses/trails in the area! My husband and I travel the country for haunts and this one is amazing. The haunted barn is great but the trail through the woods and corn field goes on forever with actors on every corner. We highly recommend!!

Thunderbird Farms Boo Barn and Haunted Trail Review 2025:

This place is basically a giant Halloween Party hosted by your friends that have built a Haunted maze in their barn and created a wickedly long and awesome trail outside.
In between is an open area where you can hang out, get some great apple cider donuts, or check out their cozy and fun full bar inside.
We were amazed at just how deep the trail goes into the woods, and how dark, scary and unpredictable it is.
We look forward to making this a yearly Halloween tradition.

Thunderbird Farms is a great spot with a lot going on throughout the year. The Sunflower Festival is beautiful, and in October, they have their Boo Barn and Haunted Trail. It’s a fun Halloween setup that’s perfect for families looking for something festive.

The owners are super friendly and clearly put a lot of effort into making the events enjoyable. There’s always something to do, and the homemade cider donuts are seriously good.

    Definitely worth checking out!!!

I can across this location on FB which was advertising a sunflower festival event. I wasn't sure if I was going to go due to the weather but decided to make the drive, only encounter some rain on the way there. However once I reach the town it was rain free. This would've been my 1st time going to a sunflower festival so I took my mom since I knew she would enjoy it. The entrance fee was $10 plus each person got to pick 3 sunflowers. They different food trucks plus a Halloween decorated bar names boo bar. The staff was pretty friendly and welcoming. Restrooms facilities where via porta Johns. They had karaoke which many enjoyed. Overall it was a cool experience, also a nice day trip to getaway from the city for a few hours. Drive there is scenic as you see the mountain views plus the farms.

Can’t say enough good things about thunderbird farms! We don’t live locally and every time we go, we leave wishing we were closer. Such a great place for families or even a date. Sitting outside, looking over the fields, having a beer and a donut (or 6)…it really brings you back down to earth and to enjoy the moment out at this farm. Love the staff, the decorations, the vibe, everything! See you soon!
