Visiting for the first time here for an art show and I was impressed with the overlay of the library and the space for the show. I thought to myself how awesome the library is to have an art gallery right in the front of the front desk area.
I didn't explore the rest of the books or computers as I am not from the area, but it certainly looked spacious and well-organized. I liked how the front as you enter had a bench and the parking lot was well-lit and has plentiful spaces. For proximity, the library is 1.4 miles from Palisades Map
Love the children's area. They have fun activities for the children to do. Like a letter hunt, and when they find them all they get a little gift
I have been going to the library since I was a kid back in the late 90s. I grew up with this library. From being a 1st grader borrowing some books for summer reading to now being a Nurse currently studying for the NCLEX.
This library is a great place for all ages.
If you are a book worm, of course you will love the variety of books here.
If you are a adolescence, there are a video game aisle to borrow video games, Manga, and teen novels. Truth be told I used to do this a lot back when I was a teen. 😂
If you have children, the children section is a beautiful area that will widen their child's eyes. I especially love the small aquariam and the adorable small children toys. Used to do my summer reading as a kid here in this library. Harry Potter & The Magic Tree House Series were what I used to read.👶🏽
For Adults, great place to study & use the computers here. I personally love going here to study.
Also, if you dont like reading books, it's a quiet place to take a small nap. Truth be told, I used to do that back when I was a teen. Not reccommended though..😅
Also, the staff are nice & accommodating. Very helpful
Would highly reccommend this place to anybody.
Tom Chapin wrote his library song about THIS LIBRARY. Truly a gem. Great resources, great staff (even after my wife stopped working there), and they've got a giant fish tank!
