Haverstraw King's Daughters Public Library

I'm a frequent visitor to the Haverstraw library, but my experiences have been consistently disappointing.

The staff often make mistakes, and the checkout process is slow and inefficient.

The lack of self-checkout options is frustrating, especially since it is standard at all other local branches( New City, Suffern, Finkelstein,etc).

The atmosphere can also be unpleasant, which makes me less enthusiastic about coming in.

I hope the library will take steps to address these issues and improve the experience for patrons.

Clean and helpful staff. For checking out, printing, DVD, CD, reserving rooms you must have a library card and be a resident of North Rockland. Children's book area is down the stairs. You are free to come in and read on-site. Free wifi as well.

Beautiful library with scenic views.. totally falling for Rockland County. Library is very clean, employees are welcoming and so love the terrace outside.

As an outsider to this community I must say that this is the most beautiful library that me and my family have ever attended. The children's section is phenomenal I love how they have it set up. So many comfortable places to sit and read access to the computer I love how they have little drawing and art stations for the little kids. The day I attended they had a little kids class going on with music and reading it was great. I wish libraries like this existed where I currently live there are very far and few in-between that have phenomenal people working there like the group that works at this Library. I will definitely be coming back here anytime that I'm back in Haverstraw Garnerville area. anyone that has access to the library should be grateful for a Library such as this one.
