Thank you to the view and hold their staff for hosting an absolutely beautiful wedding day for my husband and I food was amazing. The service was impeccable and the view was absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for a better venue to share our special day together. They made everything so easy from the day we booked the wedding to the payment plan and to our very accommodating maître de Jon. He made sure as bride and groom we had everything we needed at our fingertips. Everything was absolutely amazing and we still have people telling us. It was one of the best weddings with the best food that they've ever been to and we agree we definitely are very happy we chose to view to host our wedding.

We had my daughter's baby shower at the view and we couldn't have been happier! The food was wonderful and the servers were amazing. Thank you for a lovely day we look forward to returning

My wedding was 9/13/25 at the view in Oakdale and we truly could not be happier with our experience!! It was exactly what we pictured our wedding to be like - so much fun, great food and drinks, amazing service, gorgeous views, and only great vibes all day. So many guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We had a beautiful ceremony on the patio with immaculate views of the great South Bay. Jonathan made sure we were taken care of the entire day and made sure everything was absolutely perfect. The day went exactly how he described it to us in the beginning. He made to entire process so smooth from start to finish and always had great communication and answered any questions I had quickly. Having our wedding here was stress free everyone here is very laid back and provides top notch service in every department. I highly recommend the view for weddings as well as lunch or dinner , we always love coming here to enjoy the fabulous food, drinks, and views. It truly is the best spot on long island to enjoy. I can truly say the view gave us the wedding of our dreams!! Have your wedding here if you want to have the best day ever!!

Last weekend, we got married at the View in Oakdale. A beautiful late September wedding; I truly cannot put into words how perfect everything was. Five stars in all departments. The setting is absolutely beautiful, especially in the summer. The view (pun intended), the food, the staff - all together created such an unmatched atmosphere for our day.

What really made the experience, was working with Jon. He was AMAZING! Beyond helpful, had such a fun yet calm personality, and most importantly he was very organized throughout the entire process. Anytime we had a question or concern, he was quick to respond and always made us feel taken care of. On the day itself, Jon was our go to man! He made sure everything ran smoothly, which allowed us to truly enjoy our day and be in the moment. Our day was effortlessly thanks to Jon and his team. I would also like to give praise to Jesse as he was a wonderful additional contact to communicate with alongside Jon.

As for the dining experience, we opted for an extended cocktail hour and let me tell you, the food was incredible! This felt like such a personalized and high-quality experience that only added to the celebration. We loved that the View offered this option to us.

I can honestly say our wedding wouldn’t have been the seamlessly perfect day we selected a different venue. If you're considering the View in Oakdale, I can’t recommend it enough. I will permanently be reliving this day until further notice !

I spent the evening taking my mother, sister and a friend to dinner last night, its been a while since ive been there, so it was very fitting. It was also my mother's "early" birthday celebration as well before she goes back down south to Florida. With that being said, we were happily waited on by Samantha. I cant say more than enough about our experience with her. She was attentive, very kind, engaging and when I say I didnt have a second of my wine glass empty, I mean it. Like a fast ninja my glass was full each time I thought it was empty! I must say, I will be coming back and requesting to always be taken care of by her. The food is also on point! We got Chicken Melanese, sis got the Bronzino Star scallops along with her friend and mom had the filet mignon, everyone loved the food, all plates were empty! The speed from order to table was also fast! It was a great experience with Samantha, she even had candles ready to sing and spent the time to truly care honestly and attentively to my mother. Familia is always first and she knew the importance of it. Kudos! See you again soon!
