I’ve ordered from Shrimpy’s in East Islip several times now, and they never disappoint. The environment is incredibly friendly and the location is always spotless. One of my favorite things about this place is the service. The staff is excellent. I always ask for their opinion on the menu, and I love that I get a straight answer and thoughtful suggestions based on what I’m in the mood for. If you go on a Tuesday, they have some awesome Taco Tuesday specials right when you walk in!
Food is good, portions are generous, atmosphere is good, and customer service is excellent. I wish they toasted it a bit more on each side, by the time I got home 7mins, it was soggy on the other side, beside that it was REALLY GOOD.
Watch out for new order kiosks. Came on a Tuesday there’s nowhere to order a lunch special and you won’t get the deal on Taco Tuesday if you don’t click the menu option for Taco Tuesday. It should automatically default your order for the deal in my opinion
I came here after a doctors appointment across the street& boy did i leave satisfied! I had the lobster burrito of the month. it was about $30 but well worth it, the burrito was huge & packed with food & flavor! I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu.
I went there because one of the owners is my kid's wrestling coach and thought I'd do the nice thing and patronize the place. The thought of having a Taco Tuesday lunch special was tempting, but I wanted a true taste of the place. So, I had the Shrimp Po Boy Burrito. Damn was that amazing!! And it wasn't small. I definitely got my monies worth! And since it's the only game in town that has beef tacos, I brought my kids back for dinner. This time was the chicken quesadilla for me. Also, not let down. I'll be back plus I might get them to cater a party!
