Washington Avenue Park

Not sure what happened to this place but it needs a good cleaning! Some remulch in the playground and more garbage cans - there's garbage everywhere. Beautiful park but not maintained.

I would give this park a 4, but the MOSQUITOES were so bad.

My son asked to try a new park and this was near Patriot Park, so I thought why not.

The drive was great, parking phenomenal, but from the second I stepped into the play area I started to feel bug bites. After 10 mins I had to leave...

Washington Avenue Park is a popular urban park located in New York. Great playground equipment for all ages with lots of shade. Garbage cans are often overflowing and as a result, there is quite a bit of litter around the park and playground. Bathrooms are often locked, which is challenging for families with young children.

This is a nice little spot for softball and little league games. It has two fields with a turf infield. Both pretty well maintained.

It is a small park with limited parking, so make sure that you get there early if you want a decent spot.

They do have bathrooms as well as seating areas.

Overall a good park.
