Great park for Forest Playgroup. Highly recommend attending!
Nice park to go walk with your dog specially during summer days where your dog can take a dip and have fun in the water.
The Mansfield Park near Massapequa, New York, offers locals and visitors a convenient and pleasant recreational space. Nestled in a suburban neighborhood, this park provides a variety of amenities for outdoor enjoyment. Whether you're looking to unwind with a leisurely stroll or engage in active play, Mansfield Park offers something for everyone, making it a beloved community asset in Massapequa.
We went there on labor day weekend so, maybe my impression was tainted. The trails are flat, easy and fairly dirty - debris, broken bottles, trash everywhere. Extremely overcrowded including large groups so loud that you can hear them from half a mile. The park is a narrow strip of land sandwich between residential areas, rail- and regular roads. You can hear all these all the time even when you go far to the middle. While lakes are pretty and the waterfowl is abundant but again constant human presence, noise pollution and debris ruined this hike
Nice park nice walking trail
Bickyles are permitted nice people
Stay out of the there way and everyone is happy
Dont go while wet some trails become harder
Overall a nice place and it is very big so you can get a real walk in
