Could use more benches for parents facing the playground to monitor the kids

The park itself is nice. A bit overgrown and not very well cleaned up and stuff on the paths and actual play areas but because it is such a huge park it's understandable that it's not going to be easily leafblown and manicured as much as others since it's so large and surrounded by a small forest.

I believe they could try cleaning up and clearing out the playground spot better atleast so that the children aren't falling in mud piles, pulling weeds up, and trying to pickup acorns and more expesally the smaller ones whom try to put stuff in there mouths. Definitely have to keep a very very close eye on children there expesally small ones.

I also believe they should have more options for younger children to play on at the playground. The equipment is metal, no steps only ladders and firefighter poles. My son is 2 and can't climb ladders well enough alone yet and smaller children most certainly can't.

I'd say maybe removing the tiny fence where the sprinkler is and adding a second playground area that has different features like equipment that has small steps and small short slide, some balancing/stepping stones, a couple of bouncey animals they can sit on maybe one of those turning around in circle things, idk even just adding steps onto the already existing playground equipment would help make a huge difference.

Only other thing is I've been there when we ended up getting a un expected downpour of rain and the only thing that could be opened with cover was the bathroom and the women's side was closed once. I think setting up a few gazebos or anything with a roof around would be great expesally when it's a very long walk back to the parking lot from the playground when you have children and all the stuff too. It would also become a much better place to host parties and reunions if there were covered areas with tables near the grilling area. It potential for a spectacular park is there for sure just needs alittle more work and it could be awesome. Alittle more than that and it could be one of the best ones ever lol
