Wits End Tavern

Stopped here since we heard lots of Appalachian Trail hikers love this place and recommend it. It's not far from the AT trail head. Food delicious, drinks as well. Hikers don't forget to sign the logbook by the pool table at the window 😎 thanks for a lovely evening

This place is a absolute hidden gem! Best food , amazing people (owner and bar tenders and the cook staff!!!) I’ve been all over and this place feels like home for my lady and myself. I never had a bad time , food is always incredibly good, fair prices and everything is clean and everyone’s so friendly. My go to place when I have time to eat out.

Very pleasant lunch experience here. I had the Beyond Burger and my dining partner had the wings. All was delicious and the service was friendly. The place definitely needs a facelift outside but inside was clean and even the other customers at the bar smiled and said hi!

Local tavern provides good food at reasonable prices. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was decidedly local and comfortable. I went with a burger, and it and the fries came out very nice - it’s a real grill. Definitely recommend!

Love this place! The bartenders were attentive and friendly and remembered my name! The chef himself came out to ask me how I liked the food. He makes a lot of his own creative recipes. The patrons were friendly too and the bathroom was clean! Just a local bar with top notch food and service. I know a lot of Appalachian Trail hikers stop here. Plenty of parking across the street as well. Oh, and the carrot cake was the best I’ve ever had! I got one piece to taste and my mom sent me back for more! Lol. They have a black bean burger and Beyond Burger for vegetarian options. Monday nights are pool nights, Tuesdays are Taco Tuesdays, Wednesdays are steak nights, and the first Saturday of the month is karaoke. Fish tacos were delicious and so were the sweet potato fries!
