“No hippie left behind”. “No one gets the email!” I loved the laid back retro energy at this beautiful place, and I really enjoyed talking to the owner who had a great sense of humor and old school hippie attitude. The woods were gorgeous for camping. The place was clean and well maintained. Stayed here for a Neil Young concert at Bethel Woods venue just down the road. Highly recommend! And it’s the REAL Yazgur’s farm!

We camped out here not on a festival weekend and it was perfect. When we rolled up sitting and talking to Jeryl was just like talking to an old friend. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. It’s not a glamorous place but the price and feel is right.

A bit expensive to pitch a tent in a very roughly mowed field. Also forced to pitch tent very close to other tents while 80% of the field is unused is a bit ridiculous.
However it is a pretty cool experience with the stage in the woods with a lot of talent.

We booked a full hook-up site for 2 nights (concert weekend). We called to confirm that you could actually show up "after sunrise" to check-in and were told basically, yes...? We rolled in around 7:30am and no one really knew what was going on, why we were there, etc. But a few minutes later, Earl showed us where we could park and we were all good.

The RV spots are not very level (we all seemed to have issues parking and setting up) and very close to each other. Luckily, the few campers there were spaced pretty far apart and we ended up with an amazing view of the mountains. There are a lot of full hook-up RV spots and I would imagine when they are mostly booked, it's a very tight squeeze with very close neighbors.

Since no one was there to officially check us in when we arrived, we walked to the tent around noon to show all of our tickets (camping and shuttle for 2 people). They seemed genuinely annoyed by us. At one point, the woman just walked away from me and I had no idea what was going on. Turns out, she just went to go get her phone and we were, in fact, all done. K.

The shuttle to and from the venue was great! We left on time, got dropped off right near the gate, and the bus was waiting for us right after the show was done. Great music, great vibes, and a wonderful driver!

There is no store on site, most dogs are off leash, and people are there to party. These were not downsides for us, just something that is unlike other campgrounds.

I can't wait to go back! Overall, it was a pretty awesome, unique experience...

Truly a beautiful historic location. The former home of Max Yasgur this campground is not a corporate experience but a family one. When you are greeted with welcome home you know that they mean it.
