Chris from yes mam did a fantastic job painting my kitchen cabinets and walls. Chris and co always does a great job every time we use him and he is very fair with pricing.

Moved into a new home and picked Chris since there was a wide range of things we wanted to get done and after looking through a series of his reviews. I would definitely use Chris again. We had him repaint the interior of the home as well as add wallpaper in spots.

What I would say Chris does exceptionally well is carpentry. He redid some base molding and added some chair rail molding to a wall which turned out very well.

You can see from the fireplace photos below (old fireplace on bottom, new on top) he redid the mantle to match nearly identically with the one from my wife's childhood home. I can't say enough about how well and impressed we were with how this turned out especially matching it so closely just off a photo.

We also had him add a new wall to the middle of a room to split it in two so we could use one side as an office and the other as a sun room. He installed a Murphy door for that room as well without any issues and again, just off a couple of photos constructed a built in bookshelf (green bookshelf photo) that came out beautifully.

We also had a completly different set of contractors replace a basement staircase which they did a so so job of finishing. Chris stepped in and closed up some spaces they left underneath the staircase and along the walls and it's now the best looking staircase in the entire home as a result.

The overall process took a lot longer than we expected which wasn't a complete surprise since that seems to be typical with these kinds of projects and new items we'd want done would pop up along the way. But at the end of the day we were happy with what we ended up with.

I'd say Chris's prices are reasonable after having gotten a few other quotes for the amount of work we needed. And I appreciated how detailed he was on the invoices with all the work that was being done and what all the costs were.

Yes Ma'am Decorative Contracting performed several renovation projects in our house including different types of moldings and wall panels installation, stairs, full bathroom renovation, tile work and painting. Chris and his team are very skillfull, professional workers and they were always responsive to everything we asked them to do.
