Fabulous atmosphere! Cozy and intimate in the front dining room. Lovely outdoor space that it utilized all year round (during the cold weather months it’s enclosed and there are heaters that keep it a great temp). The menu is excellent! Lots of options that you don’t see many other places, and everything is delicious as well as presented beautifully. Highly recommend Kevin’s for lunch or dinner. But make sure you make a reservation because it’s always packed. Once you try it, you will understand why.
I’m going to keep it real. I hate being ignored when I’m out to dinner I like to be pampered. This place is small 8-10 tables and 5 servers and we had to call them 6 times and they were 5 feet away. That being said the owener Kevin was awesome and his food was amazing. The filet mignon was amazingly cooked like I wanted it. The prime rib was so juicy and the sirloin was thick and juicy. The chicken was just as good as the steaks I was so surprised. The chicken parm had a very crunchy breading and a wonderful old school sauce. The Calamari was crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The spicy tuna app was a wonderful bite. The Sriracha mayo was so good. The Barada was in an amazing vodka sauce. And one of the most amazing things was the fresh baked rolls that they sent out in the beginning they were so good. We got a second order they reminded me of my mom’s rolls.
My husband and I were looking for a local lunch spot while out Christmas shopping.. then remembered Kevin's on recommendation from friends.. we have been to his previous resturaunts many times.. this did not dissappoint! I ordered Manhattan clam chowder that was flavorful and chunk full of potatoes and clams and also a beer..my husband ordered the fish and chips and had 2 beers..we enjoyed sitting at the counter and chatting with our server Erin..with full access view of kitchen. It was warm and welcoming..prices are very reasonable for a very tasty meal..my husband loved his fish and chips!
Kevin’s Restaurant is a true gem and worthy of a stop whether you are looking for a date night or on your way to/from Resorts World Catskills. Get the French Onion soup!
We ate at Kevin's for the first time and we will definitely be back. It's worth the trip. They serve olive spread & fresh bread! We had 2 delicious appetizers ..Stuffed mushrooms and veggie rolls. For entrees I had Salmon which was cooked to perfection. My husband had Steak Fritts which was also delicious. The outside terrace was so charming. Only downside is the limited parking...you may want to park at Dunkin Donuts next door
