Never had a bad meal yet. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for atmosphere was they kept leaving that 2nd door open and it was freezing in there. Otherwise love the place.
I was surprised when I showed up. I've driven by here so many times and just never noticed the place. We stopped it for a family dinner. It definitely has that look that you wouldn't expect to go in but everything is fine. Has that bar you just want to sit at all the time. We went on an off night and it still was crowded by the time we left. Service is good. She was really working hard to keep up with everything. All this enjoyed the meal that we had.
This place right here is a true south jersey gem. It’s the type of place that Anthony Bourdain would write about. There’s an astounding level of authenticity when it comes to a certain type of culture in a certain type of place. You’re surrounded by good hard-working southern jersey people and the place is packed, Especially the bar. The wings were killer, I also ordered the lobster ravioli appetizer in a blush sauce… That was probably my favorite thing I had dipping garlic bread in the sauce. If you’re in the area, make sure you stop by this joint. You won’t be disappointed. The menu is massive. Food is great and the people are really cool.
Dont let the outside fool you…. It’s a dump. Like scary…
.
…but once you go inside, it’s your typical dive bar vibe. The staff was pleasant, quick and attentive. The menu was affordable and the food was very much above average.
.
We went in for chicken parm night and for $16.99 it can’t be beat!
.
The bathrooms were utterly disgusting girlfriends report, no photos. Go to the bathroom before you leave, and hold it for the ride home.
.
It's a hidden local gem for food. We’ll probably go back, but owners/management should be embarrassed of the outside presentation of the place…. However, I think they almost want it that way to keep people away?
.
However the food does live up to the reputation of the place.
Came on a date with my wife. This hidden gem in Tabernacle NJ has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. From the outside it appears to be a small town tavern, on the inside it looks like a small town tavern, but… the menu and the food scream otherwise. You can put that chef in any kitchen in the world and he’s going to deliver top notch food. Absolutely incredible food. If you’re on the fence, trust me, it’s worth every penny
