After my mother passed about a month ago we decided to go with James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, and I do not regret it. From the very first phone call until the end, everyone was polite and helpful. Our funeral director, Darrah, was kind and empathetic, and walked us through everything, even writing a beautiful obituary for my mother. When the urn had a slight delay, she offered to hand deliver it to us during the weekend once everything was prepared, which was greatly appreciated.
