The Evergreen is such a great place that we'll actually be looking for an excuse to stay there again! Wonderful hosts, Jennifer and Brian, amazing breakfast that was more like a full brunch, and just the best experience overall. We HIGHLY recommend this wonderful establishment.
During my stay, I found Jennifer and Brian to be very friendly, accomodating, and enthusiastic. Jennifer's breakfasts are outstanding. Their home is lovely and the grounds are peaceful and picturesque. I plan to return!
Just wow. Jen and Brian are more than hospitable; friendly, funny and open. We arrived after dark and a day of traveling and the energy of hosts and home instantly put me at ease. It smelled wonderful and the inn has beautiful, minimalist touches throughout. Our room was cozy and clean with a balcony that made for a relaxing late evening of star gazing. The breakfast is thoughtful, creative and absolutely delicious. I look forward to returning when I’m back in town visiting family!
The Evergreen Inn is fabulous. Decorated with minimalist, thoughtful touches throughout, you'll feel like you're the first guest they've entertained. We rented the larges suite, which had an oversized king bed and plenty of space. The connecting porch was an excellent bonus. The bathroom was deliciously decadent. Throughout this 1818 home, the original architecture shines. You'll feel like you stepped back in time as you enjoy all the modern amenities like air conditioning and breakfast that will make you miss eat even as you're eating it. Seriously. we checked out two days ago and we're still talking about (drooling over) Jen's yogurt parfait. Literally ever inch of this inn is designed to restore and relax you. Also included are two sweet, lovable, and just-big-enough-not-to-fit-in-your-bags dogs who filled our days with love. There is a pool that is thoughtfully placed on the property to provide total privacy, and a help-yourself bar just next door. The innkeepers have appointed the bar with liquor and non-alcoholic drinks and an atmosphere that's country speakeasy chic. It's quite cool. And your hosts. Jen and Brian. If you want to meet finer people, you'll have to look pretty hard. While, yes, it's their role to be kind, their depth and warmth is a gift that's so authentic and genuine they are the respite.
Our stay at the Evergreen B&B was delightful. The true relax and refresh stop we needed on our trip to Maine. The innkeepers Jen and Brian were welcoming and the inn is beautiful. Our room was clean and spacious. The grounds were private and well cared for.
We enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit and listening to frogs in the pond. We had dinner in the“ Bar shed” constructed by Brian.
The breakfast Jen prepared was generous as well as delicious. Thanks guys for a great stay !
