I've been going to this place for years. The same gentleman has been working there the whole time. I don't know if he's an owner but he certainly treats the place like he's an owner.
I stopped here to fill up my work vehicle today. The price per gallon is a little steep, especially for an Exxon. I realize prices are going up all over Connecticut and beyond, but this place is a tad over the state average.
I know the tanks were replaced not too long ago, so the pumps have been replaced as well as the tanks, so everything is up to date and is working well.
The receipt printed at the pump, which I like. There is no hand sanitizer, only a handful of spiderwebs.
The facilities look to be clean. I didn't go inside, so I can't comment in regards to the staff. They have a small store here as well.
I don't like the fact they charge higher prices for using a credit card to pay, especially considering it is a Mobil/Exxon card.
I noticed one of the reviews mentioned they were a regular customer and wished diesel was sold here - well, now they sell diesel!
Overall, not a bad place to stop to refuel...
I live within walking distance so I go there all the time to grab Entourage wraps, sodas, and snacks. The place is clean, has reasonable/average prices, and a nice, well stocked selection. On top of that, they have amazing customer service; most of the workers know my boyfriend and I by name
The ONLY thing I wish they had was diesel, as we have to go to the next gas station down the road to get some, but that's not a big deal. Otherwise, this is my go-to rest stop

A related fantastic experience I had with them happened today. I had a serious issue and desperately needed to borrow a phone. The cashier working today was new and doesn't know us yet, unfortunately. Despite that, he was kind enough to lend me the landline to not only make the original call, but he also let me stay there to wait for my partner to call me BACK on their phone
I just wanted to publicly thank them for that. I was in a really tight spot and you saved me, thank you SO much. You guys are awesome and we'll be back within a day or two again, like always! Thank you!
