I’ve had the pleasure of working with Joann for my medication management since the middle of January, and I can honestly say it has made a significant difference in both my health and peace of mind. From the beginning, she has been incredibly thorough in reviewing my prescriptions, explaining potential interactions, and helping me establish a manageable routine. She's always patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable — never rushing appointments and always taking time to answer my questions. Joann doesn't offer just "cookie cutter" solutions, she really tries to think of the best road to take for someone's health and well-being. She doesn't look for an easy way out.

Thanks to Joann, I feel more in control of my health than I ever have! I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for expert guidance and genuine care when it comes to managing medications. I've never been in better hands!

I am sharing this to help prevent others from making the same mistake I did. First, let me say this rating is based solely off the treatment I received from Joann Diaz. Ashley with Guiding Light has been absolutely amazing in helping me navigate the issues I’ve had with Joann. She is the only reason this is not a one star review.

I started seeing Joann while she was employed with a different company and moved with her when she came to Guiding Light. The past 4 months have been some of the most trying difficult times in my life and Joann failed me at every turn. Due to the state of my mental health I took a leave of absence from work because I can still receive pay through disability. I sent the paperwork immediately to Joann for her to complete. The amount of errors on this form are genuinely negligent. First, she put a bipolar diagnosis code on all of my paperwork. I am not diagnosed bipolar and I have communicated to her that I am not bipolar. She never once assessed me for bipolar. Second, she put the incorrect month for the end date of my leave. This was a MASSIVE mistake that dramatically affects my leave. Because of this mistake I went almost a month without pay and had to rely on friends to help keep me feed. She corrected that and I filed an appeal. The third mistake I found out the 3rd time submitting the information. This woman failed to put her name, license # or even the state she is licensed to practice medicine.

For transparency, I am sharing screenshots of the email I sent to her and a member of guiding light staff.

I never received a response to the email sent. She is currently refusing to refill my prescription because I did not complete the urinalysis that she sent me 3-4 weeks ago. In our last appointment mid July she said nothing about needing to complete the UA. I ordered was told she needed bloodwork for a “baseline”. This may seem to be potentially valid reasoning, but it is clearly a retaliatory action due to her own inability to take accountability for her mistakes. I find her behavior absolutely abhorrent, unethical and negligible. I will be filling a complaint against her with the state. Until then, I am obligated to protect future patients from going through what I have gone through the past couple months with Joann Diaz.
