Great experience at Jay's Auto Center! Highly recommend to get your car work done here. I've come here for wheel bearings & axle seal work. Jay also fixed a stubborn coolant leak that other places could not find & a heat shield rattle that was generating a lot of noise!

This place is worth all 5 stars if not more!! Jay is a very friendly man and did wonderful work on my car! 11/10 recommend and will be going to this shop for all of my car repair needs!

I had a problem with my exhaust pipe suddenly letting go- the car was so loud. I called Jay’s to see if they could squeeze me in, he went to go check and called me back immediately. They had every opportunity to charge me for additional parts and extra hours of labor- I was expecting a much larger repair. Instead, they were able to reconnect that exhaust pipe, and my car was ready that same day. This was probably my best experience with a repair shop.

Both Jay and his son were extremely helpful after my brand new car was hit twice right after I bought it. They had me come over for an estimate right away and took numerous photos of the damage. Instead of eye-balling it & giving me a quick price they asked if they could call me in an hour with details.
They did call within the hour and gave me a very detailed description of how they wanted to do the repairs and paint job. The estimate was very competitive.
I can't express how reassured I felt that they took the time to price out the job for me instead of rushing it.

The repairs were absolutely perfect. My appointment time was delayed by half a day because of a snow storm and they still finished the job in the time they told me. My car is brand new again!

Jay is an incredible business man. He has owned his auto mechanic shop for 39 years and he knows his stuff! I found his shop based on google reviews, I was looking to buy a car in Bristol and I needed to have an independent inspection so that I could rest assured the car was mechanically sound.

I can't tell you how glad I am I went to Jay....it was THE best $50 I ever spent! He saved me from making a $7,000 mistake and I could not be happier.

He is a gruff but funny guy, and he knows his stuff more than any other mechanic I have dealt with. It is a small, family business, his son is also a mechanic there and they both have more knowledge on cars than any other auto body shop I have encountered.

There are completely kind and honest, smart, and most importantly, know their stuff. Which helped me from making the huge mistake of buying a lemon car. If I hadn't thought to go to him, I would have probably lost the car a month down the road, because it was chaulk full of problems, not something you want when buying a new car. He also got me in last minute, which I totally appreciated. I would use Jay's again and again, am so happy with the service I received. Thanks Jay!
