Food is exceptional and has been for years and years. Eggplant is phenomenal and melts in your mouth.
This is the best deli around. Food is made to order and delicious. If you want catered trays this is the place to go. I’m surprised they haven’t expanded their store for all the cooking they do.
As there are fewer and fewer local delies, this is one to appreciate. Great food.
This review is long overdue, I’ve been going to Mattei’s for a long time now. Their food is outstanding. If you like eggplant this place has the best eggplant I’ve ever had. Not to mention unlike a lot of other places, Mattei’s loads up their sandwiches and gives you PLENTY! The employees are also very polite and happy to help. All of their food is delicious, I highly recommend coming here and trying it.
We had a celebration of life for my husband of 42 years. The food was delicious, Grace was very patient , and Dennis delivered the food to our venue on time with precise professionalism and all were very courteous! There was plenty of awesome food and everyone wanted to know where we got it from. Thank you so much for a stress free, successful part of this important occasion!
