Went riding on Nov 8, mid-afternoon - weather was perfect! Such a lovely place - dead end road, pretty area where the Rollin' Jaxx is located. Call a few days ahead to pick your day and Jackie will text you the details (what to wear, where to go, $, etc.). She was very thorough with instructions and educational with guiding you as she taught you the necessary techniques to ride and be gentle to and respectful of the horses. I had Lucky, he was great! I was nervous, but we started off in the stable to learn the basics (walk, turn, stop, trot, etc.) which was helpful and obviously critical. Jackie checks in with you as you are on the trail to make sure you are ok and will tell you when you need to adjust the way you ride or guide the horse, which is so important. Grace and Tyler were such a wonderful help to me as well! I got the hang of riding as best I could, on the trails and through the fields. Lots to pay attention to and be mindful of for the horse. Trotting was so fun and the entire experience was freeing, peaceful & refreshing for me, which is just what I needed! It was a great place to try riding for the first time. I recently had the chance to go trail riding, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The scenery was absolutely beautiful—rolling hills, wooded paths, and stretches that opened up into wide views that felt straight out of a postcard. The trail was well-marked and maintained, making it easy to follow while still feeling like a true escape into nature. Some much. It’s worth every penny.

For those of you who are not familiar with horses and and stables that offer trail rides I strongly suggest you read up or study both before adventuring to get into it. Rollin Jaxx stables offers trail rides and if your and experienced rider and looking for something other then I would clearly call and ask Jackie if she is willing to accommodate you. I personally would not waste my time at any trail riding stable . Now if you’re looking to take your children or someone who has never been around or on a horse then this place is reasonable. A little pricey but what isn’t these days. I found Jackie to be a little very controlling for my liking but once again it’s her stable her business and well bottom line is SAFETY should be a big concern anywhere you go so kudos to you Jackie. My grandkids enjoyed it and were well taking care of that counts for me. So if you never have rode before or are wanting to to familiarize yourself with being around horses. This might be your place.
