My boyfriend loves the pizza here so I got myself an italian sub… introducing the worlds saddest italian sub, I feel scammed.
Pizza is very good but I can only afford the cheese. That being said, staff is always polite and I always take it to go. I’ve only had the pizza but that’s all I ever need and they do a great job in my opinion.
We order from Sergio’s every Friday night and we live 3 towns away. We can’t get enough of your cheese pizza! Delivery is amazing and ordering is easy. Thanks all!
I’ve had to think about how to do up this review and to what I would score it, not just based on them but to not base it off other places, but it’s tough to compete with other places and still stand/grade on its own. Firstly..I heard about it because someone posted on a Bristol Talks page about them catering a party and how great the food was and the portions they got. I’m sure it was…maybe it wasn’t the same cook..maybe it was and Sundays are different..I really don’t know. This was my first time here.
Parking - Located on Stafford Avenue, depending on the direction you’re driving, you have to pass the sign and go in the next driveway. There’s plenty of parking…if the other stores in it aren’t too busy. Small curb, but there is a ramp as well so if you need to get in via wheelchair, you can.
Food - I got a Sausage and Pepper dinner over ziti. You got a small salad with dressing; which is same size as everyone else gives..you got a pretty good size meal but couple issues…WHEN comping to all the other establishments in the area. 1) Bread..as you can see in the picture, the garlic bread was literally the size of 2 bites and it was gone..so no dunking in the sauce unlike Empire, Max, etc where you get a huge slice of garlic bread. 2) The sauce..when I was finished with the meal (to go), it had a ton of water meaning that the sauce they use..gets watered down at some point, as opposed to using sauce. (Again..I want sauce with pasta and bread to dip it in..that’s the whole experience of getting a pasta).
Service - Guy behind the counter was easy to talk to when ordering, brought the food out when it was finished.
Will I go back again? Prices were reasonable..there’s no doubt it about it. But they were pretty much the same as the other places in Bristol, Plainville, Southington, etc. I’d honestly give them another chance…but will I go out of my way? Sadly…no. There’s just so many other places to choose from in the area that to me anyway that hit a triple or a HR. On a 1-5…I’d say 3.8.
