Ian is an absolute gem! He is the utmost professional, talking you through every step of the process and engaging in meaningful conversation throughout. It was so easy to book (I happened to do so via Instagram DMs). This wasn’t my first rodeo, but I always appreciate a tattoo artist that treats everyone with kindness and respect, taking the time to make everyone feel comfortable. His shop is clean and conveniently located, tucked away off Rubber Ave right near Stop & Shop in Naugy. I’ve been to many shops around CT and NY and Grim Tattoo is by far my fave! I’m thrilled with how my design came out. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful experience. I had a tattoo I needed covered and the work is just absolutely beautiful. He is so light handed and very reasonable in price he really works with you Very accommodating. Definitely. We'll be back definitely recommending to my friends. Thank you so much. I met the apprentice Jose at another tattoo shop and followed him over to Grim. I met Ian and had wonderful conversation with both of them while there.

When it was time for my 18 year old son to get his first tattoo, I didn't think of going anywhere else for it! My son spoke with Jose and he came up with something perfect and he got him in within a week.

My son went for a bigger piece for his first time, it took about 4 hours and was worth every second & dollar paid!

Ian is best artist I've ever had. Very close attention to detail and never fails to listen to your suggestions or input. I have had six tattoos done by him, all of which have held up incredibly well. He always charges the appropriate amount and runs holiday sales, which is always great. He is also extremely responsive on all social media so he's easy to book with or ask questions.

I have recommended countless friends, families and strangers to him as people are always asking where I got my work done. 10/10 best artist in CT, if you're considerIng going anywhere else- don't.
